The Nobel Laureates' Letter - This is a centerpiece of the campaign. We should share its contents near and far, begin conversations as to how the campus community can come together to discuss its contents and make decisions on action items. It should be offered as an attachment to the EUF University Letter when reaching out to decision-makers at your university.

Approach Script with University Chancellors, Deans,
Professors and Administrators: - The Education Under Fire team has developed
this approach script to assist local activists in obtaining
face-to-face meetings
with University officials and educators to begin the conversation and to
obtain their collaboration. This method will help you get that first
meeting. We recommend that you go into that meeting armed with a few tools
such as the Nobel Laureates’ letter, Amnesty International’s Endorsement
Letter, details on the Drive to 25 petition initiative, the EUF University
Letter and a copy of the EUF DVD (if possible). Be prepared to ask your
prospective collaborator to help in specific ways such as co-sponsoring
your event, completing a Drive to 25 petition, reading the Nobel Laureates’
letter and promoting all of these things among faculty, staff and students.

You may also use it to reach out to on-campus Amnesty International clubs (and other groups and organizations who will respect the prestigious Amnesty name).

written letter by Amir Soltani, signed by a dozen Nobel laureates and 100+
academics and published in the NY Review of Books in 2000, fits so well

state-controlled or pro-government media over a 16-month period from
